Ecommerce site development is different from a standard website. There is a lot of thought that needs to go into the project to make sure it meets your needs and this takes a little time. With every Ecommerce store we take on, we supply a professional proposal encompassing every aspect of the project. This proposal will cover everything you need to know from start to finish. The entire process can take up to a week to produce.

This process will require either a face to face meeting or conference call, possibly 2 or 3 follow up calls with questions, reviewing all the materials, determining the best solution for your needs and within your budget, creating a detailed site map, all suggested 3rd party modules and their costs, merchant account information, anti fraud solutions, shipping solutions, tracking solutions, hosting and maintenance requirements, rough suggested layout of the site and our cost to create the site.

Ecommerce Packages

In most situations these packages would give you an accurate cost of an average Ecommerce project. However, every project is different and we can only confirm the final price after determining your exact requirements. In addition there are a number of 3rd party applications and modules that are optional and quoted separately. These are costs that you should also keep in mind when determining your budget.

Hosting Fees Packages

Our hosting is on our own fully managed dedicated servers either on Rackspace or Hostgator's network.  

Shopping Cart Hosting includes :

  • 20GB of Server Space
  • 10,000GB of Bandwidth
  • SSL certificate
  • 20 email address' at 2Gb each

$50 per month, billed quarterly.

Optional Exchange email hosting is $15 per month per mailbox
This includes 25Gb mailboxes, not taken from hosting space

Site Maintenance Packages

All our sites come with 1 month free maintenance. This covers everything from updates, edits, menu changes, navigation changes, template edits etc. Our standard maintenance covers an average of 4 hours of work per month and costs $300 per month. It is highly recommended that every shopping cart include maintenance for at least 6 months. There is a lot that changes as you begin to work with your store and we find that tweaks and changes are inevitable. 

Without a maintenance or service contract our standard hourly rate for support is $100 per hour and billed in 30 minute increments.
